Our school has established four basic qualities for general education based on the concept of creating school traditions, school training and management: seeking truth and trustworthiness, practicing qualities and comprehensive qualities, and implementing the ideals of general education in our school in a specific way. I hope that students of this school will develop the spirit of independent learning, and under the guidance of the general course teachers, they will gradually cultivate their basic qualities of general education, and look forward to finally learning. The general course is different from the professional course, focusing on guiding students to actively care, explore and understand the ultimate value and wisdom of human beings; at the same time, the knowledge provided by the general course is not the purity of the professional course, but the basic knowledge with a strong sense of reality. Courses in various fields can be selected across learning performance indicators without being restricted. When people think of successful people, they usually think of huge wealth, high popularity, leading some influential social activities or sports, or having outstanding professional performance in various industries. However, does success mean that it has many materials and fame? Today's society and media are constantly distorting the value of young people and encouraging them to pursue wealth and material things in a fast and easy way. However, young people regarded the pursuit of material and wealth as the first priority in their lives. This desire to increase personal wealth and materiality often distorts young people's understanding and value of life, making them unable to become leaders of jobs in all walks of life in society, to exert positive influence and serve and benefit people. Today's university education mainly focuses on the cultivation of special talents, and focuses on how students can strive to possess material things. Students are not usually taught how to live their lives, nor do they emphasize the basic elements of life. In fact, these non-material things are very important to make young people healthy and mature; only most people, including the students themselves, do not value these traditional values. In this course, through a variety of learning methods and many practical examples, we hope to raise the students' emphasis on character and understand the importance of traditional virtues such as elegance, respect, kindness, integrity, discipline, discipline, dedication, gentle words, trustworthiness, and commitment to personal success and development in their jobs and families. I hope that after completing this course, students can deeply understand the true definition of success, know no secrets and shortcuts, and be willing to pay for the price, study hard, and cultivate various qualities in their lives. When students have these life characteristics, combined with the professional abilities cultivated in various departments, they will enable them to become leaders in various industries and develop positive influence and enhance the entire society.
