「德」(virtue, arête) 與「幸福」是古希臘哲學家從蘇格拉底，經柏拉圖，到亞里士多德均認為最重要的倫理議題。其中亞里士多德的名著《尼各馬柯倫理學》(Nicomachean Ethics)更是有關二者最為詳盡細緻、體系完備的典籍。本課程選取英譯原典部分內容，使學生從中了解亞氏倫理學中「德」與「幸福」的關係。"virtue" (virtue, arête) and "happiness" were the most important ethical topics that ancient Greek philosophers believed from Sucrates, Plata, and Aristotle. Among them, Aristotle's famous book "Nicomachean Ethics" is the most detailed and systematic classic about the two. This course selects part of the original English translation text to enable students to understand the relationship between "virtue" and "happiness" in A-list ethics.
