近代大學的成立、演進及興衰,與人類文明的前途息息相關。關於「大學是甚麼?大學往何處去?」,是當代文明的核心議題之一。
本課程在20世紀的歷史脈絡中,考察中國知識人的大學論,從理論及實踐兩個層面,探討華人大學觀的思想淵源、傳承及社會影響。本課程特別重視培養自我省思及批判能力。在學習方式上,強化閱讀、理解、統整及分析資料能力,提高書寫及口頭表達能力。The establishment, evolution and decline of modern universities are closely related to the future of human civilization. Regarding "What is university? Where does university go?", it is one of the core topics of contemporary civilization.
In the historical context of the 20th century, this course examines the university discussions of Chinese intellectuals, from the perspective of theory and practice, and explores the ideological source, inheritance and social influence of the Chinese National People's University. This course focuses on cultivating self-reflection and critical skills. In terms of learning methods, we will strengthen our ability to read, understand, organize and analyze data, and improve our ability to write and oral expression.
