本課程希望能於帶領學生了解在合宜的制度的表象下所可能因為商業利益、科技競爭、政治訴求、私人因素等所衍生的不正義現象。透過藥商利益與AIDS疫情、跨國人體試驗、集體盲從暴力、司法冤案等不同類型國際與國內議題的介紹與討論,讓同學建立思辨分析的能力,而非盲從於制度表象,進而強化對於相對弱勢族群的關懷態度。本課程嘗試分別從科技發展、運用,以及社會制度與現象中分別探討正義的價值與落實困境。
期中考前的課程聚焦於社會制度與正義,從漢那、鄂蘭「平凡的邪惡」觀點出發探討與分析不正義的集體社會現象。進而思索當制度進入軌道、並穩定運轉之後,可能因為人為因素或制度盲點而引發的個案式不正義現象,如冤獄等。透過比較個案式受害者與集體社會暴力下的受害者的本質差異性,探討設置制度維持社會整體正義之際,所可能衍生出的對少數族權利益的犧牲,與應有的關懷。
期中考後的課程側重在與科技發展、運用以及疾病等議題中的分配正義與社會價值偏差所引發的不正義,涵蓋的議題包括藥品研發與專利制度、人體試驗的利益分配、跨國的生物資源剽竊等攸關如何分配利益才符合分配正義本質的議題,並延伸到解構與反省某些因成見而歧視某些疾病、患者或族群的不正義現象。This course hopes to lead students to understand the injustice that may be derived from business interests, technological competition, political complaints, private factors, etc. under the appearance of a suitable system. Through the introduction and discussion of different types of international and national issues such as drugmaker interests and AIDS epidemic, transnational human trials, collective blindness and other types of international and national issues, students can establish the ability to think and analyze rather than blindly follow the institutional appearance, and thus strengthen the concern for relatively weak ethnic groups. This course attempts to explore the value and implementation dilemma of righteousness in scientific and technological development, application, and social system and phenomena.
The course before the midterm exam focuses on social system and justice, and explores and analyzes collective social phenomena of injustice from the perspectives of "ordinary evil" in Hanna and Hubei. Introduce the phenomenon of injustice that may be caused by human factors or system blindness after the system enters the road and moves stably, such as injustice. By comparing the essential differences between case-based victims and victims under collective social violence, we explore the possible consequences of setting up systems to maintain the overall social justice, which may lead to the risk of minority rights and interests, and the right concerns.
The course after the midterm exam focuses on the injustice caused by the distribution of scientific and technological development, use, and disease issues. The issues covered include questions related to how to distribute benefits to meet the essence of distribution justice, and extend to solving and reflecting on certain inappropriate phenomena that discriminate certain diseases, patients or ethnic groups due to their experience.
