一、指導選修同學研讀證據法之著作、法院判例、大法官會議解釋，期使同學能深入了解我國目前刑事證據爭點及實務 運作現況為主。
二、輔以美國及日本等外國證據法例(因我國刑事訴訟法採用美日法例甚多)，藉使同學體認我國日後證據法立法之趨勢。（尤其是日本採取國民參與刑事訴訟程序之裁判員制度對證據法之影響甚鉅）
三、協助提同學昇將來從事刑事司法實務時（擔任檢察官、法官、辯護人及其他職務）時認定事實的能力。一、總說：
（1）證據法之發展；
（2）證據法之意義：實體的真實主義；
（3）證據法之體系。
二、各論：
（1）證據之蒐集、調查與訴訟程序之關係、
（2）證據調查及其準備；
（3）證據裁判主義；
（4）證明之對象、證明之必要 舉證責任；
（5）證據方法之意義及種類；
（6）證據能力概述；
（7）自白之證據證明力及證據能力；
（8）傳聞證據；
（9）違法蒐集證據之相關問題；
（10）有關證據能力之其他問題（照片、錄影音帶、謄本、抄本、電腦磁片或光碟片等證據之證據能力）
（11）心證之形成：自由心證主義之內容及其例外；自白證明力 之限制；心證形成之極限。1. Guide the works, court precedents, and interpretations of the Supreme Court meetings of the students to study and review the laws of fellow students, so that they can have an in-depth understanding of the current situation of criminal certificate disputes and practical operations in our country.
2. Use foreign certificate laws such as the United States and Japan (because our criminal acts adopt many US and Japanese laws) to enable students to recognize the trend of legislation on our post-certification laws. (Especially, Japan's referee system for national participation and criminal proceedings has a great impact on the certification law)
3. Assist in improving the ability of students to determine the facts when they come to serve as prosecutors, judges, counselors and other duties. 1. To summarize:
