個案管理可以說是一個較新的社會工作服務概念，過去十多年來已受到國內實務界的重視。本課程將嘗試以基礎的角度探討與個案管理此一社會工作實務模式相關的各項概念，包括其定義、發展過程、個案管理的實踐和執行方式等。此外，亦將結合學生所學過之社會工作直接、間接服務方法，包括：個案工作、團體工作、社區工作、行政管理、研究方法、社會政策與立法、社會工作實習(2)、(3)等課程，形成一整合性之社會工作實務模式。學生能夠藉由修課、閱讀相關文獻資料、作業演練等過程，學習與社會工作個案管理相關之知識和技能。本課為社會工作學系四年級之選修課程之一。

Case management can be said to be a newer concept of social work services, which has been valued by the domestic practical community over the past decade. This course will try to explore various concepts related to the social work practice model of case management from a basic perspective, including its definition, development process, implementation and execution methods of case management. In addition, students will also combine direct and in-service methods for social work that they have learned, including: case work, group work, community work, administrative management, research methods, social policy and legislation, social work practice (2), (3) and other courses to form an integrated social work practice model. Students can learn knowledge and skills related to social work case management through courses, reading related documentary materials, and working practices. This course is one of the four-year elective courses in the Department of Social Work.
