簡單來說「學校社會工作」就是將社會工作專業運用在以學校為基礎的生態系統中,協助學生及系統中的人都能得到適當的學習與發展機會。《國民教育法》為學校社會工作進入校園輔導網絡提供了法源依據,也為學校社工啟動了專業制度化的發展契機。學校環境提供社會工作專業一個獨特的運作環境,藉由學校社工師與學校團隊成員及社區生態系統間的資源相互合作,往往能對學生及其所屬的家庭、學校帶來更適切的幫助。
在現今社會急遽變遷的過程中,學校社會工作因為教育、社區、及家庭等面對更複雜的衝擊而更顯其重要性;然而,這也意味著學校社會工作所面對的工作內容的多元性與不確定性是非常高的。因此,本課程的目的將引導學生學習如何透過學校環境,深入瞭解服務對象的困境與需求;並且與學校團隊成員及社區相關資源合作;有效發揮社會工作專業知識與技巧,期待讓每個學生都能有平等且符合正義的學習成長機會。此外,透過課堂探討中輟、家庭暴力、性侵害與性交易及校園偏差行為等相關議題之處遇,透過模擬演練的方式,拉近學生與學校社會工作理念與實務的距離。
To put it simply, "school social work" means to apply social work profession in a school-based biological system to help students and people in the system get appropriate learning and development opportunities. The "National Education Law" provides a legal basis for the entry of school social work into the campus network, and also launches a professional institutionalized development machine for school social workers. The school environment provides a unique operating environment for social work. By cooperating with the resources between school social workers, school team members and community ecological systems, it can often bring more appropriate help to students and their families and schools.
In the process of rapid social change today, school social work is more important due to more complex impacts in education, community, and family; however, this also means that the diversity and uncertainty of the work content faced by school social work is very high. Therefore, the purpose of this course will guide students to learn how to deeply understand the difficulties and needs of service targets through the school environment; and cooperate with school team members and community-related resources; effectively develop professional knowledge and skills in social work, and look forward to giving every student an equal and justified learning growth opportunity. In addition, through the classroom, we explore the relevant issues such as intercourse, domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual transactions, and school deviation behaviors, and through simulated practice, we will narrow the distance between students and school social work philosophy and practice.
