網頁前端技術開發者所關注的是使用者對於瀏覽網頁時的體驗，但由於目前的網頁標準並非完美在所有瀏覽器中實現，有時相同的程式碼在不同的網頁瀏覽器中顯示出來會不一樣，因此一位合格的網頁前端技術的開發者必需要能夠掌握各種不同瀏覽器的特性，因而建構出適合各平台的網頁內容。
本課程的主要目標，在於讓學生了解網頁前端程式撰寫的概念與技術，並使學生學習到符合未來發展趨勢的網路服務與雲端技術之基礎技術與其相關的實作技術，以達到理論與實務兼備的教學目的。
What developers of the web front-end technology focus on users' experience of browsing web pages, but since the current web standards are not perfectly implemented in all browsers, sometimes the same code will be different in different web browsers. Therefore, a qualified web front-end technology developer must be able to master the characteristics of various browsers, and thus construct web content suitable for each platform.
The main purpose of this course is to enable students to understand the concepts and techniques of web front-end programming, and to enable students to learn basic technologies of online services and cloud technology that meet future development trends and achieve both theoretical and practical teaching purposes.
