本課程教授General English,共分為3部分:句法,閱讀,表達.句法部分提供學生一個完整有系統的英語句子結構,讓學生熟悉句子與片語的轉換,以強化學生改寫句子(paraphrase)的能力.閱讀部分則透過閱讀技巧的專題介紹和不同議題的文章,培養學生獨立閱讀的能力(critical reading).表達部分提供學生機會練習,讓學生透過(1)上課分組討論(group discussions),(2)同儕教學(group peer teaching)和(3)個別的簡報表達(PPT presentaions)三方面的訓練,加強學生口語的表達能力和信心.This course teaches General English, which is divided into three parts: syntax, reading, and expression. The syntax part provides students with a complete and systematic English sentence structure, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the conversion of sentences and segments, so as to enhance students' ability to write sentences (paraphrase). The reading part cultivates students' ability to read independently through topic introductions of reading skills and articles with different topics (critical). Reading. The expression section provides students with opportunities to practice, allowing students to strengthen their oral expression skills and confidence through three aspects: (1) group discussions, (2) group peer teaching and (3) PPT presentaions.
