Objective: To teach students basic concepts, theories and related applications in various fields of physical chemistry as a basis for learning other courses.

Content: Including chemical equilibrium, statistical thermodynamics, solid materials, molecular motion, chemical kinetics and molecular dynamics.

Describe and illustrate materials chemistry, kinetics, statistical thermodynamics, and solid interface phenomena.
