教育目標 Course Target

哲學作為對智慧的追求以解決存在的種種問題時,我們對於身處的時代種種狀態應有所省察,並且應透過學習當代哲學對這些狀態的觀察與反思來瞭解自身的存在與相關問題。本課程希望透過後現代著名學者Steven Best和 Douglas Kellner合著的《後現代理論-批判的質疑》(Postmodern Theory: Critical Interrogations, 1991)有系統地介紹、討論與批判以法國當代哲學家為主的、不同的後現代理論、立場與方案,以瞭解當代的知識與文化狀態:
1. 後現代的場域與視野:後現代的起源與思想背景。
2. 傅柯與現代性之批判。
3. 德勒茲對尼采的詮釋與反伊底帕斯。
4. 布希亞對現代性的探索、歷史的終結到後現代。
5. 李歐塔從康德的現代知識狀況,到後現代的語言遊戲與後現代的困境。
6. 後現代的馬克主義、女性主義。
7. 現代與後現代之論爭。
8. 後現代之特徵。

基於上述課程內容,本課程將分為兩學期進行。

When philosophy is the pursuit of wisdom to solve various problems of existence, we should reflect on the various conditions of the times we live in, and we should understand our own existence and related problems by studying the observation and reflection of these conditions in contemporary philosophy. This course hopes to systematically introduce, discuss and criticize different postmodern theories, positions and programs, mainly by contemporary French philosophers, through "Postmodern Theory: Critical Interrogations, 1991" co-authored by famous postmodern scholars Steven Best and Douglas Kellner, in order to understand the contemporary knowledge and cultural status:
1. The field and vision of postmodernity: the origin and ideological background of postmodernity.
2. Foucault and the critique of modernity.
3. Deleuze’s interpretation of Nietzsche and anti-Oedipus.
4. Busia’s exploration of modernity, the end of history and postmodernity.
5. Lyotard goes from Kant’s modern knowledge situation to postmodern language games and postmodern dilemmas.
6. Postmodern Marxism and feminism.
7. The debate between modernity and postmodernity.
8. Characteristics of postmodernity.

Based on the above course content, this course will be divided into two semesters.
