教育目標 Course Target

以道德教育為專題:(一) 介紹西方主要哲學家:柏拉圖、亞里士多德、盧梭、康德、杜威、懷德海、赫欽斯的道德教育與教育思想。
(二) 從西方理想主義、實在主義、自然主義、先驗主義、實用主義、機體主義、永恆主義之觀點,了解道德教育原理重要哲學命題,
以及各家學說對於道德教育之哲學分析。

Special topic on moral education: (1) Introduction to the moral education and educational thoughts of major Western philosophers: Plato, Aristotle, Rousseau, Kant, Dewey, Whitehead, and Hutchins.
(2) Understand the important philosophical propositions of moral education principles from the perspectives of Western idealism, realism, naturalism, transcendentalism, pragmatism, organicism and eternalism,
As well as the philosophical analysis of moral education by various schools of thought.

課程概述 Course Description

本課之目的在讓哲學系學士班同學在經過數年的哲學基礎訓練後,能在西洋哲學之專題上對所學的內容與方法作綜合的應用,即就哲學的一個專題來閱讀與思考,並寫成報告,可以為日後進一步的研究奠定基礎。西洋哲學的專題包括:(1)希臘哲學;(2)中世紀哲學;(3)英國經驗論;(4)歐陸理性論;(5)德國觀念論;(6)當代英美哲學;(7)當代歐陸哲學。授課教師可就任一專題設計課題程。

The purpose of this course is to enable students in the bachelor's degree class of the Department of Philosophy to comprehensively apply the content and methods they have learned on a topic in Western philosophy after several years of basic training in philosophy. That is, to read and think about a topic in philosophy and write a report, which can lay the foundation for further research in the future. Topics in Western philosophy include: (1) Greek philosophy; (2) Medieval philosophy; (3) British empiricism; (4) Continental rationalism; (5) German idealism; (6) Contemporary British and American philosophy; (7) Contemporary Continental philosophy. Teachers can design courses for any topic.
