本課程結合民眾生活與醫療活動,循歷史脈絡下探討傳統中國的醫學發展,課程內容包括:醫者與醫療活動、醫學知識的傳播、中醫學的身體觀、性別與醫療、保嬰與幼幼、祝由科與情志療法、養生與食療文化、邪祟與祟病、宗教醫療、中醫外科、檢驗與法醫學、衛生與醫療以及中國醫療的現代性等項目,帶領修課同學領略傳統中醫學的悠久傳承,並且與民眾生活息息相關的一面。This course combines people's life and medical activities, and explores the development of traditional China's medical development through historical context.
