本課程有三個主要學習目標:一是對中國思想的特質有所理解。二是對個別思想家、學派的根本關懷與思想體系,有清楚的認識。三是通過本課程的修習,能明瞭從戰國末年、漢魏六朝到清代的中國思想發展大勢,以作為日後有意深探古典思想、文化的基石。本課程擬以中國古代思想家、思想學派或思想潮流為講授單元,旨在介紹中國思想的演變。本學期將由戰國末年及漢代思想述起,中及隋唐佛學、宋明理學,終於清代學術。This course has three main learning goals: First, we have some understanding of the characteristics of Chinese thought. Second, we have a clear understanding of the fundamental concerns and ideological systems of individual thinkers and schools. Third, through the practice of this course, we can understand the great development of Chinese thought from the late War, the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties to the Qing Dynasty, as the cornerstone of intentional exploration of classical thought and culture in the future. This course teaches the lectures of ancient Chinese thinkers, ideology schools or ideological trends, and aims to introduce the evolution of Chinese thought. This period will start from the thoughts of the late War and Han Dynasty, and will be studied in the Central and Sui and Tang Buddhism, Song and Ming dynasties, and finally in the Qing Dynasty.
