了解版畫藝術的類型，內涵與原則性格與鑑賞，比較版種的表現特徵，基本技法與藝術表現融合應用。 版畫藝術是一項間接性的創作媒材，由於現今科技的進步逐漸改變對“版”這個名詞的概念。這個“版”概念已經打破傳統對“版”的解釋，當今藝術的表現手法可見到類似“版”概念作品，透過對間接與直接手段的表現作品，甚至觀念性作品一一出現，且要居當代藝術重要名作。 版畫作為當代藝術的一種語言形式，除了既有的豐富多姿的媒材技法表現性，是否應該在今日的藝術生態或展演場域裡，扮演一個介於精英與大眾、傳統與當代、勞動與觀念，以及純粹性與商業性之間的多元中介角色呢？本課程將同時兼顧版畫創作技法與思考，以及當代藝術理論和藝術史文獻，期許能夠透過異質的知識或課程的進行，拓展自我的藝術創造力與論述分析能力。

Understand the types, connotations and principles of printmaking art, character and appreciation, compare the performance characteristics of print types, and integrate and apply basic techniques with artistic expression. Printmaking art is an indirect creative medium. Due to the advancement of today's science and technology, the concept of the term "print" has gradually changed. This concept of "version" has broken the traditional interpretation of "version". Today's art expression techniques can be seen in works similar to the concept of "version". Works of expression through indirect and direct means, and even conceptual works have appeared one by one, and they are among the important masterpieces of contemporary art. As a language form of contemporary art, in addition to the rich expressiveness of media and techniques, should printmaking play a diverse intermediary role between the elite and the public, tradition and contemporary, labor and concept, and purity and commerce in today's art ecology or performance field? This course will take into account printmaking techniques and thinking, as well as contemporary art theory and art historical documents. It is hoped that through the study of heterogeneous knowledge or courses, one can expand one's artistic creativity and analytical ability.
