體育是重要的社會活動，必須運用公共關係的各種技巧與手段，讓體育活動與社會公眾建立相互了解和依賴的關係，並通過雙向的溝通。藉以在社會公眾中樹立起良好的形象與聲譽，以取得理解、支持的合作，從而有利於促進體育活動目標的實現。本課程理論與實務並重，一方面讓同學瞭解公共關係的理論與實務，另一方面由同學分組透過收集資料，完成對某一特定議題的公共關係之關切與理解。

Sports is an important social activity, and various public relations skills and means must be used to establish a relationship of mutual understanding and dependence between sports activities and the public through two-way communication. In order to establish a good image and reputation among the public, to obtain understanding, support and cooperation, which will help promote the realization of sports activity goals. This course pays equal attention to theory and practice. On the one hand, it allows students to understand the theory and practice of public relations. On the other hand, students are divided into groups to collect information to complete their concern and understanding of public relations on a specific issue.
