教育目標 Course Target

讓同學欣賞並瞭解到台灣原住民傳統建築與聚落單純的空間形式構成,其實充滿著種種有趣的文化構思,又與自然取得和諧,並應合社會運作的功能。它們是台灣建築與居住文化中獨特的資產,亦為當今台灣、亞洲建築新設計的重要養分。 先說明課程目的與分析、論述之理論架構,建築究竟與社會、文化、自然有何關係。包括依循過程生態人類學發展的「一個文化社群的居住文化體系架構」、構築文化(tectonic culture)、機構(institutions)與建築類型(building types)。隨後以族別論述其傳統建築、聚落之空間形式、材料構造與結構樣貌,以及其與該族之社會、文化及所處自然生態之種種關連。主要包括泰雅、賽夏、布農、鄒、邵、魯凱、排灣、阿美、卑南、雅美與平埔族。全課程雖以各族群傳統建築與聚落及其居住文化為主,但時以其現代建築為連結現實之引子,顯示其文化傳承與變遷、斷裂。最後終結於現今各族群所遺存之有形、無形文化資產及其保存工作現況。Let students appreciate and understand the pure spatial form of the traditional structure of Taiwan’s indigenous peoples and settlements, which is actually full of interesting cultural ideas, and is harmonious with nature, and should be in line with the functions of social operation. They are unique assets in Taiwan’s architecture and residential culture, and are also an important part of the new architectural designs in Taiwan and Asia today. First, explain the course purpose and theoretical structure of analysis and discussion, and what is the relationship between architecture and society, culture and nature. It includes the "residential cultural system structure of a cultural community" developed through process of ecological humanism, tectonic culture, institutions and building types. Later, it will use ethnic groups to describe its traditional structure, space form of settlements, material structure and structure, as well as its connection with the society, culture and natural ecology of the tribe. It mainly includes Taya, Essia, Bang, Jung, Shao, Luka, Paiwan, Amei, Beinan, Yamei and Pingpu people. Although the entire course is mainly based on traditional buildings and settlements of various ethnic groups and their living culture, its modern buildings are used as the introduction to link reality, indicating that its cultural heritage, changes and breakdowns. Finally, it ends in the present situation of tangible and intangible cultural assets and preservation work that exist by various ethnic groups today.

本課採講授、放映DVD、ppt.方式講授,課前發放講義與參考書目,同學需配合預習閱讀。課堂上鼓勵同學發問討論。可能的話,另將安排一次田野調查參觀,以增進同學親身體驗機會。
This course is taught in a lecture, DVD screening, and ppt. The lectures and reference books are issued before the course. Students must cooperate with pre-reading. In class, students are encouraged to ask questions. If possible, another field survey visit will be arranged to enhance the physical experience of students.
