1. 認識學術論文的基本架構。
2. 針對各類音樂作品培養熟悉切入觀點。
3. 嘗試撰寫文獻回顧與摘要。本課程專為表演、指揮與作曲主修之音樂系碩士班學生所設計。其主要目標，為帶領學生認識學術論文（尤其是學位論文）之形式與內容。在形式上，學生必須熟悉基本論文格式，包含引用資料之方式；內容上，本課程則以「樂種」之角度切入，帶領學生思考，在分析不同樂種之作品時之不同觀點。本課程採用專題討論方式進行，學生必須依照授課教師指導，自行蒐集資料、閱讀資料並加以摘要整理，全面地為撰寫學位論文做準備。

1. Understand the basic structure of academic papers.
2. Cultivate familiarity and insight into various types of musical works.
3. Try to write a literature review and summary. This course is specially designed for students in the Master of Music program majoring in performance, conducting and composition. Its main goal is to lead students to understand the form and content of academic papers (especially dissertations). In terms of form, students must be familiar with the basic paper format, including the way to cite materials; in terms of content, this course starts from the perspective of "music types" and leads students to think about different perspectives when analyzing works of different music types. This course is conducted in the form of a special discussion. Students must follow the guidance of the instructor to collect, read and summarize information on their own to prepare comprehensively for writing a thesis.

本課程之教學目的協助學生熟習各類研究方法，並實際參與資料收集、閱讀、寫作論文的過程。

The teaching purpose of this course is to help students become familiar with various research methods and actually participate in the process of data collection, reading, and writing papers.
