■ 課程目標
一、使學生能深入認知傳統畫論之精髓，應用於藝術創作之基本內涵與文化素養。
二、作為學生藝術創作時對傳統繪畫和理論之基礎，讓學術科涵養得以均衡發展。
三、以傳統畫論書摘分析，並使學生落實到創作層面，達到實踐學養理論的基本能力。

■ 課程內涵
一、本課程以中國美術中之繪畫理論為取材，藉由各單元之畫論書摘分析，培養學生藝術創作時自我分析與檢閱的基本能力。
二、課程規劃的各單元以傳統畫論中基本要義為主，從人物、花鳥、山水等不同畫科出發，兼談畫論同時進行創作，讓同學回身檢討自我創作時的概念與涵養。
三、期中、期末進行評圖，並繳交一份融合畫論閱讀與自我創作的心得的創作論述。

■ Course objectives
1. Enable students to have an in-depth understanding of the essence of traditional painting theory and the basic connotation and cultural literacy applied to artistic creation.
2. As the basis of traditional painting and theory when students create art, it allows for the balanced development of academic disciplines.
3. Analyze excerpts from traditional painting theory books and enable students to implement them at the creative level to achieve the basic ability of practicing learning and cultivating theory.

■ Course content
1. This course is based on the painting theory in Chinese art. Through the analysis of painting theory book excerpts in each unit, it cultivates students' basic abilities of self-analysis and review when creating art.
2. Each unit of the course plan focuses on the basics of traditional painting theory, starting from different painting subjects such as figures, flowers and birds, and landscapes. It also talks about painting theory while creating, allowing students to review their concepts and cultivation when creating.
3. Drawings will be reviewed at mid-term and at the end of the term, and a creative essay that combines the experience of reading painting theory and self-creation will be submitted.
