人口結構是影響社會發展或形構社會問題的重要背景機制，且人口結構的變遷更常讓這些社會問題呈現持續性與跨世代性的動態後果，高齡化趨勢下萌生的社會不平等即是一例。因此以人口角度來觀察與探究社會議題有其重要性，一方面以人口學的視野對其建立基礎性的實證認識，另一方面則結合社會工作的視角來瞭解國內外因應人口變遷趨勢之應對政策的方向與實施現況，以期培養同學獲得對台灣人口問題之理論面與實務面的雙重訓練，並發掘可能解決高齡化持續趨勢下衍生之社會問題的策略。
人口發展趨勢是影響社會安全制度制定的重要因素，且人口結構的變動更讓社會福利與安全問題呈現持續性與變異性的動態後果，人口高齡化與少子女化趨勢下所產生之健康照護與經濟安全問題；即為重要的社會安全問題。因此，以人口發展趨勢的視角，來探討社會福利議題，有其必要性與重要性。
本課程將針對人口發展趨勢以及其所衍生的社會福利問題，進行討論，以期學生具備對社會福利的議題的理論與實務面的專業知識，並貝有提出解決新人口發展趨勢之下社會福利的新策略。
Population structure is an important background mechanism that affects social development or structures social problems, and the changes in population structures often cause these social problems to show dynamic consequences of sustainability and transgenerationality. Social inequality arises under the trend of high aging is an example. Therefore, it is important to observe and explore social discussion issues from a population perspective. On the one hand, it establishes a basic evidence understanding of it from the perspective of demographics. On the other hand, it combines the perspective of social work to understand the direction and implementation of policies of the country's domestic and foreign population trends, so as to cultivate students to obtain double training on the theoretical and practical aspects of Taiwan's population problems, and explore strategies that may solve social problems derived from the trend of high elimination.
The trend of population development is an important factor affecting the formulation of social security systems, and the changes in population structure have caused social welfare and security issues to show dynamic consequences of sustained and varied social welfare and security issues, and the health care and economic security issues arising from the trend of hyperpopulation and abundance of children; that is, important social security issues. Therefore, it is necessary and important to explore social welfare issues from the perspective of population development trends.
This course will discuss population development trends and the social welfare problems they have derived, so as to hope that students will have a theoretical and practical knowledge on social welfare issues, and will propose new strategies to solve social welfare under the new population development trend.
