2、培養學生具有發掘高齡化、少子女化人口趨勢下所衍生的社會福利問題的能力。
3、培養學生檢析台灣人口組成與變遷發展趨勢，以及未來可能的面臨的困境。
4、協助學生全面檢析歐美先進國家人口發展趨勢與對應社會福利政策新趨勢。
5、培養學生具備對台灣人口發展趨勢與社會福利議題優劣剖析能力。

1. To cultivate students’ basic knowledge and understanding of population development trends and social welfare issues.
2. Cultivate students' ability to explore social welfare issues arising from the aging and teenage population trends.
3. Train students to analyze Taiwan’s population composition, changes and development trends, as well as possible difficulties they may face in the future.
4. Assist students to comprehensively analyze the population development trends and corresponding new trends in social welfare policies in advanced European and American countries.
5. To cultivate students’ ability to analyze the pros and cons of Taiwan’s population development trends and social welfare issues.

人口結構是影響社會發展或形構社會問題的重要背景機制，且人口結構的變遷更常讓這些社會問題呈現持續性與跨世代性的動態後果，高齡化趨勢下萌生的社會不平等即是一例。因此以人口角度來觀察與探究社會議題有其重要性，一方面以人口學的視野對其建立基礎性的實證認識，另一方面則結合社會工作的視角來瞭解國內外因應人口變遷趨勢之應對政策的方向與實施現況，以期培養同學獲得對台灣人口問題之理論面與實務面的雙重訓練，並發掘可能解決高齡化持續趨勢下衍生之社會問題的策略。

人口發展趨勢是影響社會安全制度制定的重要因素，且人口結構的變動更讓社會福利與安全問題呈現持續性與變異性的動態後果，人口高齡化與少子女化趨勢下所產生之健康照護與經濟安全問題；即為重要的社會安全問題。因此，以人口發展趨勢的視角，來探討社會福利議題，有其必要性與重要性。
本課程將針對人口發展趨勢以及其所衍生的社會福利問題，進行討論，以期學生具備對社會福利的議題的理論與實務面的專業知識，並貝有提出解決新人口發展趨勢之下社會福利的新策略。

Demographic structure is an important background mechanism that affects social development or shapes social problems, and changes in population structure often cause these social problems to have lasting and cross-generational dynamic consequences. The social inequality that arises under the trend of aging is one example. Therefore, it is important to observe and explore social issues from the perspective of population. On the one hand, we use the perspective of demography to establish basic empirical understanding of them. On the other hand, we combine the perspective of social work to understand the direction and implementation status of domestic and foreign policies responding to the demographic change trend, in order to train students to obtain dual training in the theoretical and practical aspects of Taiwan's population issues, and to explore strategies that may solve social problems derived from the continued trend of aging.

Population development trends are an important factor affecting the formulation of the social security system, and changes in the population structure have given rise to the dynamic consequences of persistence and variability in social welfare and security issues. The health care and economic security issues arising from the aging and declining population trends are important social security issues. Therefore, it is necessary and important to discuss social welfare issues from the perspective of population development trends.
This course will discuss population development trends and the social welfare issues derived from them, with the hope that students will have theoretical and practical professional knowledge on social welfare issues and propose new strategies to solve social welfare under the new population development trends.
