非營利組織的興起，不但滿足人民各式各樣的需求，更照顧了社會上的弱勢團體，對國家經濟與社會安全有直接與間接的助益。在歐美及日本，有關非營利組織的研究，不論在理論或實務上，已發展多年。然在我國，卻仍在剛起步的階段。有鑑於此，本課程是針對欲一窺非營利世界的初學者所設計的，從以下的四個部分來探討非營利組織：第一篇，「非營利組織的興起」；第二篇，「非營利組織和政府、企業的關係」；第三篇，「非營利組織的營運和資源」；第四部，「非營利組織的多樣性」。希望藉由此課程，儘可能客觀的介紹目前非營利組織的現況，增加同學對非營利組織的全盤認識。

The rise of non-profit organizations not only meets the various needs of the people, but also takes care of the weak groups in society, and has a direct and in-connected benefit to national economy and social security. In Europe, the United States and Japan, research on non-profit organizations has been developing for many years, whether in theory or practice. However, in our country, it is still in its early stages. In this regard, this course is designed for beginners who want a non-profit world. It explores non-profit organizations from the following four parts: the first, "The rise of non-profit organizations"; the second, "The relationship between non-profit organizations and governments and enterprises"; the third, "The operation and resources of non-profit organizations"; the fourth, "The diversity of non-profit organizations". We hope that through this course, we can introduce the current situation of non-profit organizations as appropriate, and increase the students' full understanding of non-profit organizations.
