This graduate seminar deals with international governmental

organizations in general and the World Trade Organization (WTO) in

particular. It is designed to provide a basic guide to the legal

framework established by the WTO. Attention will be given to the

WTO code of conduct, and the problems and issues arising in relation

to its implementation. The perspective and emphasis embodies the

theory and practice approach to international trading system. It

is hoped that this seminar will be of value both to graduate students

in international organizations and to those concerned with further

development of the WTO.
