This course provides an overview of graduate-level microeconomic theory. Topics include consumer and producer theory, game theory, oligopoly, general equilibrium and information economics. By taking this course, you will learn how mathematical methods and rigorous analysis are applied to formalize economic concepts and ideas. This will help you to study economic problems scientifically, and to set up and solve mathematical models describing specific economic problems.

本課程的主要目的在提供學生一個進階的個體課程，課程強調數學邏輯分析的完整性，希望培養學生運用數學模型分析經濟課題的能力，作為學習其它個體領域學科的基礎。主要內容將探討：（一）個人如何在有限的資源下，追求最大的效用。（二）心理因素對行為決策的影響，以及理性假設的各種問題。(三)廠商決策問題。(四）賽局理論與各種市場結構。（五）面臨資訊不完美時，個體決策所所衍生問題。(六)一般均衡與福利經濟學。

The main purpose of this course is to provide students with an advanced individual course. The course emphasizes the integrity of mathematical logic analysis. It is hoped to cultivate students' ability to use mathematical models to analyze economic topics as a basis for learning other physical fields. The main content will be explored: (1) How individuals pursue the maximum utility under limited resources. (II) The impact of psychological factors on behavioral decisions and various problems of rational hypothesis. (III) Problems with manufacturers. (IV) The competition bureau’s theory and various market structures. (5) When the information is imperfect, problems arise from individual decisions. (VI) General balance and welfare economics.
