In human ion channel defects, many important organs, such as the brain and muscle cells, have lost their normal cell function. More and more studies have found that many major human diseases in recent years are due to the genetic mutation defects in ion channels that are responsible for transmissing cell activity processes. This course aims to introduce diseases caused by transmissible defects on ion channels and to stimulate pathogenic mechanisms caused by genetic mutations from the perspective of molecular biology and the relationship between protein structure and function. In addition, the latest treatment drugs for medical treatment of diseases caused by genetic defects will be introduced.
