教育目標 Course Target

本課程之目標: (1)使學生通過細讀原典以深入掌握高達美的哲學詮釋學思想。 (2)引導學生反思語言經驗之本性並思索其與人文科學之關係。 (3)透過課堂討論與書面報告以培養學生哲學思辯分析之能力。 本課程之內涵如下:高達美(Hans-Georg Gadamer)的《真理與方法》(Wahrheit und Methode)一書自1960年出版以來,可說已成為西方哲學的一部經典。該書之副標題「一種哲學詮釋學的基本特徵」(Grundzüge einer philosophischen Hermeneutik)標誌著高達美一生的研究主軸以及其所試圖要開創的新局,亦即:超越傳統詮釋學的人文科學方法論之取徑,俾使將詮釋學經驗深化至存有學之層次,從而宣稱一切的理解活動均隸屬於詮釋學的領域。高達美這種哲學詮釋學的基本核心主張可以用他的一句名言來簡單概括理解,亦即:「能被理解的存有就是語言。」(Sein, das verstanden werden kann, ist Sprache.)儘管如此,這句名言並非是能夠輕易理解的。故吾人若要清楚理解其詮釋學理論之內涵,實有必要按部就班地跟隨《真理與方法》中所述諸論點的展開,以便能從中掌握其思路之發展與論述之邏輯。 《真理與方法》一書共細分三個部分,即(一)藝術經驗中真理問題之展露(Freilegung der Wahheitsfrage an der Erfahrung der Kunst)、(二)將真理問題擴展到精神科學中的理解活動上(Ausweitung der Wahrheitsfrage auf das Verstehen in den Geisteswissenschaften)、及(三)以語言為主導線的詮釋學之存有學轉向(Ontologische Wendung der Hermeneutik am Leitfaden der Sprache),其分別處理有關藝術、歷史、語言這三個領域的議題。本課程則旨在集中研究探討該書第三部份的內容,希冀透過細部的精讀與爭論析辯,以引導學生思索語言問題在詮釋學經驗中的重要性,並能掌握當待詮釋學之存有學轉向的意義。本課程內容之學習,除能有助於學生理解詮釋學之發展與爭論外,亦能作為統整理解《真理與方法》全書之基礎。The goals of this course: (1) Enable students to thoroughly grasp Gao Damei's philosophical essay ideas by reading the original texts. (2) Guide students to reflect on the nature of language experience and think about its relationship with humanities. (3) Cultivate students' philosophical thinking and analysis through class discussions and written reports. The connotation of this course is as follows: Hans-Georg Gadamer's Wahrheit und Method has been published in 1960 and can be said to have become a classic of Western philosophy. The subtitle of the book, “The Basic Characteristics of Philosophyschen Hermeneutik”, marks the mainstay of Grundzüge einer philosophy and the new situation in which he has tried to create, that is, the take-up of humanities methodology that transcends traditional essays, so as to deepen the essay experience to the level of existing essays, and then proclaim that all comprehension activities belong to the essay field. The basic core idea of ​​Gordamei's philosophical essay can be simply summarized and understood using one of his famous quotes, that is, "The existence that can be understood is language." (Sein, das verstander werden kann, isst Sprache.) Despite this, this famous quote is not easy to understand. Therefore, if we want to clearly understand the connotation of the theoretical discussion, it is necessary to follow the development of the discussion points described in "Truth and Method" step by step, so that we can grasp the development and logic of their ideas. The book "Truth and Method" is divided into three parts, namely (I) the display of truth problems in art experience (Freilegung der Wahheitsfrage an der Erfahrung der Kunst), (II) the expansion of truth problems to the understanding activities in psychiatry (Ausweitung der Wahrheitsfrage auf das Verstehen in den Geisteswissenschaften), and (II) the translation of the existence of the language-oriented teaching (Ontologists Wendung der Hermeneutik am Leitfaden der Sprache), which deals with questions about the three fields of art, history, and language. This course aims to focus on the content of the third part of the book, hoping to guide students to think about the importance of language problems in their essay experience through detailed reading and dispute analysis, and to master the meaning of the existence of learning to be studied. The learning of the content of this course can not only help students understand the development and debate of their interpretation, but also serve as the basis for the whole book "Truth and Method".
