《大智度論》漢譯共一百卷,論本的結構包含了《兩萬五千頌般若經》的經文與釋論,整部論乃經論會編的型式。其中內容涉及了佛教內、外部理論與相關議題,可說是包羅萬象,因此常被稱譽為佛教的百科全書。
此外,自中國佛教哲學發展的脈絡來看,自古至今許多學者在義理的論說與詮釋開展之過程中也常徵引《大智度論》的某些觀點,來作為說明或強化其觀點的文證。因此,論中豐富的議題不但可作為佛教哲學探究的題材,透過深究論中的義理,也可作為了解中國佛教哲學在此論譯出後之詮釋取向的來由。
本課程規劃為一學年的課程。獨立閱讀與詮釋原典之能力的培養更是本課程的重要目標,因此課程將引導學生們循序漸進地進行地毯式的閱讀《大智度論》,養成把握《大智度論》的哲學理論的能力。待同學們初步能把握《大智度論》之基礎哲學理論後,教師在本課程中將引導同學盡可能同時閱讀與分析當前學界與《大智度論》相關的研究成果,期能透過這樣的訓練養成同學們獨立閱讀與研究的能力。
綜合以上,本課程規劃每個課題的研討均包含初步的理解、深入的討論、引導學生獨立閱讀與詮釋相關的原典與文本以及閱讀分析學界的研究成果等幾個部份,希望藉由這樣的訓練,培養學生的批判思考與獨立研究能力。The Han version of "The Great Wisdom Discourse" has a total of 100 volumes. The structure of the book includes the essays and discussions of "Twenty-Five Thousand Prajna Sect". The whole discussion is a type compiled by the discussion. The content involves internal and external theories and related issues of Buddhism, which can be said to be a vague phenomenon, so it is often called a Buddhist encyclopedia.
In addition, from the perspective of the development of Chinese Buddhist philosophy, many scholars have often quoted certain views of the "Great Wisdom Discourse" in the process of theoretical discussion and discussion as a document to illustrate or enhance their views. Therefore, the rich topics in the discussion can not only be used as topics for Buddhist philosophy, but also as a reason to understand the orientation of Chinese Buddhist philosophy after it was translated into this discussion.
This course is planned for a year. The cultivation of independent reading and scrutinizing the original text is an important goal of this course. Therefore, the course will guide students to read the "Great Wisdom Discussion" step by step, and develop the ability to grasp the philosophical theory of "Great Wisdom Discussion". After students can initially grasp the basic philosophical theory of "Great Wisdom Discussion", the teacher will guide students in this course to read and analyze the research results related to the current academic community and "Great Wisdom Discussion" at the same time, hoping to cultivate the students' ability to read and research independently through such training.
Based on the above, the discussion on each subject in this course plans includes several parts, including preliminary understanding, in-depth discussion, guiding students to read and comment independently and relate to original texts and texts, and research results from the reading and analysis community. We hope that through this training, we can cultivate students' critical thinking and independent research capabilities.
