易經是中華文化之源，亦是群經之首，諸子百家思想與庶民百姓生活，無不受其深刻之影響。易道廣大悉備，無所不包，舉凡天文、地理樂律兵法算術醫學丹道修煉等等，皆可援易以為說。易本是一部占筮之作，但其筮辭中富含哲學內容，歷來亦被視為指點迷津引領合理行動的智慧之書。本課程之開授即在展示闡析易經一書之源起與性質，闡析六十四卦之義理，並引申其對吾人現世人生之啟發智慧。

The Book of Changes is the source of Chinese culture and the first of all the classics. It has profoundly influenced the thoughts of various schools of thought and the lives of ordinary people. The Dao of Yi is vast and comprehensive, covering everything from astronomy, geography, music, music, military arts, arithmetic, medicine, alchemy, cultivation, etc., all of which can be interpreted with reference to the Yi. The Book of Changes is a work of divination, but its divination words are rich in philosophical content, and it has always been regarded as a book of wisdom that provides guidance on the maze and leads to reasonable actions. The teaching of this course is to demonstrate and analyze the origin and nature of the Book of Changes, to analyze the meaning of the sixty-four hexagrams, and to extend its enlightenment and wisdom for our modern life.
