教育目標 Course Target

1、發展理解與分析國際政治與國際關係的運作形式與發展的能力。
2、從國際事件觀察行為者間的衝突或合作關係。
3、認識全球化與在地化的融合與延伸。

The objective of this course is to enable students to understand the current international situation and important concepts of globalization. Besides, this course helps understand conflict relationships or partnerships among those actors in international society through introducing daily international news. Last but not least, taking into account the fields of globalization and localization to see further possibilities of combination.本堂課重視多元文化與國際觀的重要性,透過每週國際案例的討論,範圍擴及人權、自由、正義、性別、宗教與文化…等議題,有助課堂內的學生連結外在世界。同時,藉由系統性介紹涵蓋經濟、文化與環境面全球化之發展,使學生更理解全球化的各個面向。
This course focuses on importance of multicultural development as well as international perspective. It helps in-class students connect outside world through discussing different international cases ranging from human right, liberty, justice, gender, religion, and culture…etc. week by week. In addition, students are able to understand all aspects of globalization by introducing those different kinds of globalization such as economic globalization, cultural globalization or environmental globalization systemically.

1. Develop the ability to understand and analyze the operating forms and development of international politics and international relations.
2. Observe conflicts or cooperative relations between actors from international events.
3. Understand the integration and extension of globalization and localization.

The objective of this course is to enable students to understand the current international situation and important concepts of globalization. Besides, this course helps understand conflict relationships or partnerships among those actors in international society through introducing daily international news. Last but not least, taking into account the fields of globalization and localization to see further possibilities of combination. This class focuses on the importance of multiculturalism and international viewing. Through the discussion of international cases every week, it expands human rights, freedom, justice, gender, religion and culture, etc., which helps students in the class connect the external world. At the same time, through systematic introduction, students can better understand the various aspects of globalization in economic, cultural and environmental aspects.
