相較於另一門「媒體批判與社會批判」課程例舉較多媒體現象實例,本課程有較多理論趣味。將生活中可以觀察到的許多與溝通及傳播有關的社會文化現象,透過各種傳播理論來詮釋或解讀,期能引導出學生對社會科學理論的興趣與熱忱,提供其理解社會與自身的參考架構,從觀察力進而發展出洞察力。Compared with another example of the "Media Criticism and Social Criticism" course, this course has more theoretical interest. Through many social and cultural phenomena that can be observed in life, we can explain or interpret through various communication theories, and hope to guide students' interest and enthusiasm in social science theory, provide their reference structure for understanding society and themselves, and develop insight from observation.
