Introduction to Logic

教育目標 Course Target

為因應法律系學生之具體需求,使之能有效將邏輯推理運用到法律的詮釋與判斷上,本課程採用循序漸進之教學方法,首先透過批判思考之學習讓學生熟悉推理論證的思辯過程,區分有效論據與無效論據間之差別,使其能具體應用批判性思考的技巧和方法於日常生活及課業上,其次再介紹形式邏輯之基本概念與規則,使學生能熟練於形式化的推理方法,以培養其抽象思維與邏輯推理之能力。本課程所引介之具體內容將包括:(1)簡介論證概念、(2)議題、結論與理由、(3)替代論證、(4)比較論證證據、(5)有根據的推論、(6)檢查假設與蘊涵、(7)規範性論證、(8)比較論證好壞、(9)理解複雜論證、(10)商議與辯論之差異、(11)實驗、相關性與思辯、(12)謬誤的脆弱結構、(13)形式邏輯基本概念、(14)命題邏輯、(15)真值表法。

In order to meet the specific needs of law students, so that they can effectively apply logical reasoning to legal interpretation and judgment, this course adopts a step-by-step teaching method. First, through the study of critical thinking, students will be familiar with the thinking process of reasoning and argumentation, and distinguish valid arguments from invalid arguments. Effectively distinguish the differences between arguments so that students can concretely apply critical thinking skills and methods in daily life and schoolwork. Secondly, it introduces the basic concepts and rules of formal logic so that students can become proficient in formal reasoning methods and cultivate their ability of abstract thinking and logical reasoning. The specific content introduced in this course will include: (1) Introduction to argument concepts, (2) Issues, conclusions and reasons, (3) Alternative arguments, (4) Comparative argument evidence, (5) Well-founded inferences, (6) Checking assumptions and implications, (7) Normative arguments, (8 ) Comparing the quality of arguments, (9) Understanding complex arguments, (10) The difference between deliberation and debate, (11) Experimentation, correlation and speculation, (12) The fragile structure of fallacies, (13) Basic concepts of formal logic, (14) Propositional logic, (15) Truth table method.

課程概述 Course Description

入大學無論就讀哪一專業科系,邏輯思考是基本的訓練。不同專業只是思考之對象領域不同,但都是思考,既是思考就必須遵循一定的思考法則,才能作合理的思考,邏輯提供了基礎的訓練。

No matter which major you study in college, logical thinking is the basic training. Different majors only have different areas of thinking, but they are all thinking. Since thinking, you must follow certain thinking rules in order to think rationally. Logic provides basic training.
