本課程目標在於使同學了解民事訴訟程序之實務與其流程，藉由判例闡釋以及案例演習，期結合實體法與程序法，以奠定同學日後從事法學實務的能力︒程序法為實現實體權利的途徑，民事訴訟法即為解決民事私法上實體權利義務爭議，以兼顧當事人的程序正義為旨而設。因此本課程著重訓練同學以民事實體法為基礎，結合民事訴訟法的程序，以達實現民事實體權利為目的，本課程首先介紹民事訴訟程序的整體進程及目的，然後分別針對民事訴訟從開始，審理到終結所經過的攻擊防禦程序，先解釋程序設立的目的及理論基礎，以實務上的操作及判例為主，期建立學生實體法與訴訟法一貫的體系，另民事訴訟法歷經重大修正，本課程亦著重新舊法的變革，以利同學了解民事訴訟法改革的方向及新舊法的區別。

The goal of this course is to enable students to understand the practice and process of civil procedure. Through case interpretations and case exercises, it combines substantive law and procedural law to lay the foundation for students' ability to engage in legal practice in the future. Procedural law is the way to realize substantive rights. Civil procedure law is to resolve disputes about substantive rights and obligations in civil private law, and is designed to take into account the procedural justice of the parties. Therefore, this course focuses on training students to use civil substantive law as the basis, combined with the procedures of civil procedure law, in order to achieve the purpose of realizing civil substantive rights. This course first introduces the overall process and purpose of civil litigation procedures, and then focuses on the attack and defense procedures of civil litigation from the beginning, trial to the end. , first explains the purpose and theoretical basis of the establishment of the procedure, focusing on practical operations and precedents, and aims to establish a consistent system of substantive law and procedural law for students. In addition, the Civil Procedure Law has undergone major revisions, and this course also focuses on the changes in the old and new laws to help students understand the direction of the reform of the Civil Procedure Law and the differences between the old and new laws.
