本課程乃入門性質，其主要目標為協助景觀系一年級新生，使其對景觀專業的特性、專業哲理、工作內容、和未來四年內所學習的景觀課程與訓練等事項，以及彼此之間的關聯性，有初步性的瞭解。依據前述課程目標，本課之課程內容，大致分為下列五個部份而來說明之：

一、什麼是景觀？
● 01景觀定義、與景觀元素解讀。
● 02認識景觀、空間、與環境。

二、什麼是景觀專業？
● 03景觀專業之定義、特質與哲理、與工作範圍。
● 04景觀專業之發展概述。

三、景觀專業之養成：
● 05國內外景觀教育與課程。
● 06本系介紹。

四、未來課程之銜接：景觀設計與景觀規劃。
● 07設計語彙、流程與方法。
● 08設計考慮元素：自然環境、人文景觀、人類使用行為、環境美學。
● 09景觀設計與植栽設計。
● 10景觀規劃之範疇與尺度。

五、二十一世紀景觀專業之發展重點。
● 11綠建築、永續景觀

This course is an entry-level quality. Its main purpose is to help new students in the landscape tourism department to give them a preliminary understanding of the characteristics of landscape tourism, professional philosophy, work content, and the landscape tourism courses and training learned in the next four years, as well as their relationship. Based on the above course objectives, the course content of this course is roughly divided into the following five parts to explain:

1. What is landscape?
● 01Reading landscape definitions, and landscape elements.
● 02 Understand the scenery, space, and environment.

2. What is landscape tourism profession?
● 03 The definition, characteristics and philosophy of landscape profession, and work scope.
● 04 Overview of the development of landscape professionals.

3. The cultivation of landscape professional:
● 05 Domestic and domestic and external landscape education and courses.
● 06 Introduction to this department.

4. Connection of future courses: landscape design and landscape planning.
● 07 Design language, process and method.
● 08 Design consideration elements: natural environment, cultural landscape, human usage behavior, and environmental aesthetics.
● 09 Landscape design and planting design.
● 10 Scopes and scales of landscape planning.

5. The development focus of the twenty-first century landscape tourism profession.
● 11 green buildings, permanent landscape

本課程乃大一新生第一學期必修之課，屬於景觀專業學習之入門介紹。全課程分為四階段如下：

〈一〉景觀定義與景觀元素解讀。
〈二〉景觀專業介紹。
〈三〉國內外景觀教育。
〈四〉景觀設計與景觀規劃。

This course is a compulsory course for freshmen in their first year of study and is an introduction to the entrance to landscape professional learning. The entire course is divided into four stages as follows:

〈II〉 Domestic and domestic and external landscape education.
