本課程積極性的目的是讓同學對「建築」這個行業有一個全盤性的了解，使同學能更有系統地做生涯規劃。本課程消極性的目的在讓同學檢視自己的性格與興趣，作為是否要「投入」或「退出」這個行業的參考。本課程將以14個單元讓同學了解投入這個行業需要學習哪些知識與技巧，每個單元都會以影片或專題演講來介紹這個單元所接觸的實際問題。

The purpose of this course is to give students a full-scale understanding of the "architecture" industry, so that students can make career planning more systematically. The purpose of this course is to allow students to see their personality and interests as a reference for whether to "invest" or "exit" the industry. This course will use 14 units to let students understand what knowledge and skills they need to learn to invest in this industry. Each unit will introduce the actual problems this unit is exposed to in a video or topic presentation.

本課程是建築系的入門課程，主要在對「什麼是人造環境？」、「什麼是建築？」、「建築相關的行業有哪些？」、「建築系在念什麼？」、「如何念好建築設計」、「建築系的出路」等問題作一概略性的介紹。
