本課主要目的要加強學生對音樂的聽力，所以要求他們練習視唱曲調、練習聽各種不同的節奏、音高、和弦性質、旋律、對位的關係、和聲進行、曲式等聽音練法。學生聽力越強，音樂的了解與詮釋應該是越強。1. 音程之聽音及紀譜練習

4. 節奏的聽音及紀譜練習
a. 包括各種不同拍號的節奏從簡單到難
5. 旋律的聽音及記譜練習
a. 包括各種大小調及各種不同拍號之旋律, 從簡單到難之程度
6. 四部和聲的聽音及記譜練習
a. 由簡單到難的程度, 包括各種和聲進行
7. 二聲部的聽音練習
