作為貿易上的一種支付工具，信用狀的採用率即使在1990年代以後有大幅下滑的情況，但至今仍為重要的貨款清償手段。
本課程藉由內容上的安排及課堂上的說明，期望能讓修習同學經由深入了解信用狀的運作，可能內涵及其前因後果，進而避免糾紛的發生，並培養解決糾紛的能力。As a payment tool in trade, the credit utilization rate has declined sharply since the 1990s, but it is still an important means of cash clearance.
