Taiwan consumes up to 97% of imported energy per year. Due to limited global oil energy and substantial energy price fluctuations, renewable energy technology is developing rapidly and being implemented around the world. Renewable energy technology has evolved from commercial use. Some have already made significant contributions, and now power supply is reaching zero or reducing emissions to the environment. This course introduces the technical and economic status of major new renewable energy programs, allowing students to have background estimates of their future career performance and costs. During the teaching process, various renewable energy technologies are introduced. At the same time, this course puts together guidance in the field of renewable energy generation technology to allow students to understand the future useful resources of clean energy. Energy technology introduction and application, including solar thermal energy, solar battery, wind power generation, hydroelectric power generation, ground thermal power generation, bio-quality biofuel, micro-fuel battery, ocean tidal power generation, ocean current energy, ocean wave power generation, ocean penetration energy, humidity energy, and energy storage.
