1243 - 電工實驗(Ⅲ):奈米材料特性實驗 英授 Taught in English

教育目標 Course Target

本課程特色為以介紹材料科學與奈米材料科學之原理與應用,來加強本系大學部奈米組學生之材料科技理論與製作之實務技能; 特別是奈米材料科技之應用。由於材料科技之應用範圍極為廣泛,本課程發展重點將配合本系發展方向,將課程內容集中於材料特性(尤其奈米材料)之原理及其製造與應用方面之主題。
為引導學生具備材料的知識背景與了解材料特性及製造實務操作合一。本課程在手動操作部份 (80%): 經在課堂簡短講授原理後,即由教師帶領學生操作在材料製造部份的1)電子束蒸鍍機(E.B Evapor)、2)磁控濺鍍機(Magnetron Sputter)、3)電漿儀 (Plasma Instrument) 來進行奈米材料製造; 另外在材料特性原理上則以操作1)原子力顯微鏡 (AFM)、2)掃描式電子顯微鏡 (SEM)、3)膜厚儀 (α Step)、4)阻抗分析儀 (Impedance Analyzer)來進行弟料特性原理熟稔練習。
在學理介紹方面(20%):本課程主要介紹材料歷史、材料基本特性、應用領域及奈米材料系統設計領域之知識以及設計軟體之應用; 另外更將加強奈米製造之介紹。
另外介紹國內材料產業界之發展現況期許能使學生能藉由修習本課程,對於材料科學與奈米材料科學應用方面能產生興趣與有心成為研究的一份子

The feature of this course is to introduce the principles and applications of materials science and nanomaterials science to strengthen the practical skills of materials technology theory and production of students in the nanometer group of the undergraduate department; especially the application of nanomaterials technology. Since the application scope of materials technology is extremely wide, the development focus of this course will be in line with the development direction of the department, and the course content will focus on the principles of material properties (especially nanomaterials) and topics on their manufacturing and application.
In order to guide students to have the knowledge background of materials and understand the characteristics of materials and practical manufacturing operations. The manual operation part of this course (80%): After a brief explanation of the principles in class, the teacher will lead the students to operate 1) electron beam evaporator (E.B Evapor), 2) magnetron sputtering machine (Magnetron Sputter), and 3) plasma instrument (Plasma Instrument) in the material manufacturing part to manufacture nanomaterials; in addition, in the principle of material properties, students will operate 1) atomic force microscope (AFM) and 2) scanning electron microscope. (SEM), 3) Film thickness meter (α Step), 4) Impedance analyzer (Impedance Analyzer) to conduct familiarity exercises on the principles of material characteristics.
In terms of academic introduction (20%): This course mainly introduces the history of materials, basic properties of materials, application fields, knowledge in the field of nanomaterial system design, and the application of design software; it will also strengthen the introduction of nanomanufacturing.
In addition, the current development status of the domestic materials industry is introduced, hoping that students can become interested in materials science and nanomaterial science applications and be willing to become a part of research by taking this course.
