教育目標 Course Target

課程目標:
1. This course will first introduce the overview of computer network concepts, including OSI layers, main-stream network protocols, and other relevant technologies about computer network.
2. This course provides the overview of TCP/IP, gives a fundamental description of the structure of the protocol architecture, and a basic explanation of how the protocols in this architecture function.
3. This material can enhance the students on the network management background for their engineering training.
4. If the class time is available, this course will introduce computer network applications regarding Wireless Sensor Network, Internet of Things, and Cloud Computing.



課程內涵:
Course Contents: As a result of this course, students will:
- Have a perception of the basic issues related with TCP/IP protocol suite and Internet operational mechanisms.
- Have an in-depth understanding of techniques for analyzing the various frames on the Internet,
especially the possible attacking methods from the malicious hackers.
- Have a basic concept on the computer network management and relevant configuration-setting skills.
- Gain practice and competence in reading, analyzing research papers if possible.

現在是個天天接觸網際網路的世界,一位從事資訊科技領域的工作者,必須了解網路的運作原理,本課程以網際網路為討論核心,內容探討包括Application layer、Transportlayer、Network layer及 Link layer,讓學習者懂得網路程式架構與應用,未來面臨相關網路應用時皆能具備足夠之問題解決能力。

Now is a world that connects to the Internet every day. An employee working in the field of information technology must understand the operating principles of the Internet. This course focuses on the Internet. Content exploration includes Application layer, Transportlayer, Network layer and Link layer, allowing learners to understand the architecture and applications of network programs, and in the future, they can have sufficient problem solving capabilities when facing related network applications.
