說明永續性和永續發展的概念，提供清楚的原則架構，及環境保護在永續上的定位及作法。

課程概述 Course Description
永續性都市可以自行供應自己本身所需要的能源與食物，盡量減少對於週圍鄉村的依賴，並且盡量使都市的居民減少產生生態足跡。這樣的城市中，能夠對待周圍環境更加友善，減少污染、土地利用與全球暖化。使學生不僅具有深造的基礎，亦有從事環境污染防治及保育工作之就業能力。
The permanent city can supply its own energy and food, so as to reduce its dependence on the countryside around it, and reduce the vitality of the city's residents as much as possible. In such cities, they can be more friendly to the surrounding environment, reducing pollution, land use and global warming. This will enable students not only to have a foundation in further studies, but also to engage in environmental pollution prevention and control and conservation work.
