本課程介紹基本化工製程設計之課題,課程目標乃在提升大四同學運用化工專業核心知識的能力,與發揮創意思考能力,增進書寫報告溝通能力,培養團隊合作精神,來共同解決工程問題的能力,從而提升同學畢業後進入職場的就業能力。
(Course Contents): Fundamental Concepts of Chemical Process Design; Process Equipment for Fluid Transport- Pump/Compressor Selection and Sizing; Design of Heat Exchange Equipment- Heating & Cooling Media Selection; Design of Heat Exchange Equipment- Selection Criteria and Equipment Design; Degrees-of-Freedom Analysis; Selection of Design Variables; Design of Mass Transfer Equipment- Selection Criteria; Design of Mass Transfer Equipment- Short-Cut Design; Mass Transfer Equipment- Equipment Design; Economic Evaluation on Chemical Projects; Gathering of Design-Related Data; Process Design & Simulation; Design of Chemical Reactors; Introduction to Process Optimization.
This course introduces the topic of basic chemical engineering process design. The course aims to improve the ability of senior students to use core knowledge of chemical engineering, develop creative thinking ability, improve book writing and report communication ability, cultivate team cooperation spirit, and jointly solve engineering problems, thereby improving the ability of students to enter the job after graduation.

課程概述 Course Description
本課程以基本化工製程設計為主,介紹課題包括相關流體輸送,熱傳,質傳,反應等製程設備的選擇、設計與評估,此外課程討論程序系統自由度,與運用電腦來解決程序設計的問題和化工流程模擬的方法,以及基本程序合成之觀念,學生須完成一個化工製程設計的學期計劃。
This course focuses on basic chemical process design, and introduces the selection, design and evaluation of related process equipment such as fluid delivery, heat transmission, quality transmission, reaction, etc. In addition, the course discusses the freedom of the program system, and the use of a computer to solve the problem of program design and chemical process simulation methods, as well as the concept of basic program synthesis. Students must complete a chemical process design study period plan.
