■ 課程目標 (Course Objectives)
此課程開設之目的，在使生命科學系的學生，能對微生物實驗方法有充分認識，未來能靈活運用這些觀念與方法於微生物學相關學術領域，如生態保育、臨床醫學、遺傳工程、分子生物學或甚至是跨學科的範疇。藉認識地球上微尺度的眾多生物，而能探索肉眼無法看見的生命現象，進而認知生命尺度的廣闊。
■ 課程內涵 (Course Contents)
教授微生物學實驗的操作與觀念，包括微生物的培養、控制、保存，形態與生理生化特性之測定、描述，和食品或環境中微生物的多樣性與分類學的專題研究。本課程藉由實際的實驗操作與討論，使學生能掌握基本的實驗方法，奠定現代微生物學相關研究的實驗基礎。

■ Course Objectives
The purpose of this course is to enable students in the Department of Life Science to have a full understanding of microbial experiment methods and to use these concepts and methods in the field of microbiology-related academic fields, such as bio-conservation, clinical medicine, transmission engineering, molecular biology or even interdisciplinary areas. By knowing the many creatures on the earth at a micro scale, we can explore the phenomena of life that cannot be seen by the naked eye, and then we can understand the broadness of life scale.
■ Course Contents
Professor of the operation and concept of microbiology experiments, including the cultivation, control, and preservation of microbiology, the determination and description of physical and physiological and biochemical characteristics, and the research on the diversity and classification of microbial organisms in food or environments. Through actual experiment operations and discussion, this course enables students to master basic experiment methods and lay the foundation for experimental research in modern microbiology.
