Course Target

There are three goals for this course: 1. Enable students to have a basic understanding of the problem of essaying and their important theoretical schools. 2. Choose to read important original classics to improve students' ability to read philosophical classics by themselves. 3. Through practice, students can apply the theoretical study they have learned to text reading to cultivate their ability to understand and understand. The connotation of this course is as follows: Discussion originated from understanding what others say. Although the problem of essays has appeared since ancient Greek times, the development of essays was gradually corrected by the philosophical world until Slimecher tried to establish a general theory for him. Nowadays, as a philosophy subject that explores how to understand text, language, and even "understand" itself, it has been focused on and controversial in many subjects in the second half of the 20th century, and has become a research focus in contemporary philosophical thought. This course is a teaching course in a period of study, aiming to introduce the development of modern epigraphy theory initially. It is represented by four classic figures of epigraphy, Schleiermacher, Dilthey, Heidegger and Gadamer, and outline their epigraphy ideas and their differences, so as to further understand the foundation of contemporary epigraphy disputes.
