課程目標：1.能掌握與理解王陽明哲學之思路。2.能深入閱讀陽明哲學原典。3.能解析陽明道德哲學蘊涵之問題。4.加深對普遍哲學議題的理解。

課程內涵：1.宋明理學的基本問題。2.什麼是道德到如何有道德。3.理學向心學轉換的意義。4.王陽明成學歷程。5.龍場之悟的實義。6.「心即理」的文本解讀與問題詮釋。
7.「知行合一」：descriptive or prescriptive？ 8.「萬物一體之仁」：道德的基礎？9.教法的爭論：「天泉證道」的問題。

Course objectives: 1. To master and understand the ideas of Wang Yangming’s philosophy. 2. Be able to read in depth the original classics of Yangming philosophy. 3. Be able to analyze the issues implicated in Yangming’s moral philosophy. 4. Deepen your understanding of general philosophical issues.

Course content: 1. Basic issues of Neo-Confucianism in Song and Ming Dynasties. 2. What is morality and how to be moral. 3. The significance of the transformation from Neo-Confucianism to Centripetalism. 4. Wang Yangming’s educational history. 5. The actual meaning of Longchang’s Enlightenment. 6. Text interpretation and problem interpretation of "Heart is Reason".
7. "Unity of knowledge and action": descriptive or prescriptive? 8. "The benevolence of all things": the basis of morality? 9. The controversy over the teachings: the issue of "Tianquan Enlightenment".
