勞工問題錯綜複雜，非一般勞工所能理解，期待同學於短期間內學得有關工作上之權益保障之基本常識，將來在勞工法學之研究領域上得有更進一步的發展，是為本課程之目標。Labor issues are complex and beyond the understanding of ordinary workers.
