一、藉由近現代畫家作品賞析，學習各種表現技法的開發與實驗，加強寫生與創作的結合能力，並深化以及激發表現觀念的成長。
二、針對特定創作主題方向，理解其風格發展的傳統歷程，並確立自我創作之獨立特質；同時透過自我學習歷程的歸納，進行階段性創作方向之總結。
三、確立自身創作題材方向，並藉由課程專題介紹，以探討畫家創作方式，並瞭解作品風格與創作者之間關係的演變。
四、透過實際操作與實踐，以及紮實的草圖製作、練習，進行資料蒐集與分析，與創稿以及系列統合的思考，引導出創作力與完成度的磨練，並期能激發表現潛能和獨立創作能力。
五、膠彩創作：強調材質的討論與實驗，並針對自我創作風格、技法的探究與分析。
六、水墨創作：強調創作題材與相對應筆墨的實踐，並針對自我風格、技法進行探究與歸納，同時進行系列之創作延伸。
七、「畢業創作自述」的分析、歸納、書寫與指導討論。1. Through the appreciation of the works of modern and contemporary painters, students will learn the development and experimentation of various expression techniques, strengthen the ability to combine sketching and creation, and deepen and stimulate the growth of expression concepts.
2. Focus on a specific creative theme direction, understand the traditional process of its style development, and establish the independent characteristics of self-creation; at the same time, through the induction of self-learning process, summarize the staged creative direction.
