The main goal of this course is to apply the systematic planning methodology and related knowledge systems in landscape planning to complete the planning and design of a resilient city (Resilient Cities). More specifically, after completing this course, students must possess the following knowledge and skills:
1. Be familiar with the systematic planning methodology and its operating procedures in landscape planning.
2. Master the application of landscape ecology, visual landscape management, cultural landscape and other related knowledge and theories in resilient urban planning, design and management.
3. Understand the knowledge and theories related to sustainable, ecological, low-carbon, symbiotic, and resilient cities and their application in landscape planning, design, and management.
4. From a cross-disciplinary perspective, explore issues faced in practical cases of resilient urban planning, design and management.
5. Based on the above knowledge and theory, conduct scientific analysis on resilient urban planning and design issues and propose integrated solutions.
6. Effectively manage the resilient urban planning and design process.
