The main objective of this course is to introduce students to various aspects of academic texts on the theoretical philosophy of architectural design. Students will be introduced to the features of academic texts. They will also read different kinds of academic texts related to architectural theory and philosophy and discuss the contents of these texts. Students will learn to approach academic texts on architectural theory critically and at the same time strengthen their skills in reading, analyzing and discussing these books and articles.
