雜程度，已超出古典「醫療化」概念的範圍，學者也以不同的理論和概念試圖刻
畫這個趨勢的制度特徵、辨識其驅動力量、評價其社會後果：生活風格醫療
（lifestyle medicine）、醫學提增（medical enhancement）、基因化（geneticization）、
藥療化（pharmaceuticalization）、「技術科學化」（technoscienticization）、生物醫
療化（biomedicalization）、剩餘健康（surplus health）、虛構健康（fictitious health）、
平常醫療（ordinary medicine）、生技健康（biohealth）、無效醫療…等等。本課
程邀請修課者透過相關重要成果的評讀，理解並重新探索這個趨勢的特徵和意
涵。課程透過診斷的浮濫、藥療化、技術科學化，以及健康的重新界定等四個單
元，刻畫當代醫療化趨勢的重要特徵。
