在組織研究(organization studies)領域中,組織學習正式發展於1970年代。到了1990年代直到現今,企業、政府、學校、健康醫療系統及非營利組織等,都瞭解到組織必須快速適應環境的變遷,並從過去的成功或失敗經驗中學習,而組織學習或學習型組織也就成了學術及實務界重視的課題。本課程即期能幫助學習者了解何謂組織學習、組織如何能夠有效學習及培養更人性化的組織管理及以系統思考的思維來處理組織內外部相關課題。In the field of organization studies, organizational learning was formally developed in the 1970s.
