電子設計自動化(Electronic Design Automation; EDA)涉及系統建構的正確性、可靠性、效率及最佳化。這是一個跨領域的主題,需要包括電機工程、電子工程與資訊工程等相關知識。在電子設計自動化的過程中,靈活運用計算理論(包括演算法、複雜度、自動機、邏輯、程式語言等)可以找到相當實用且符合需求的解決方案。在本課程中,我們將研究一些有代表性的EDA問題以及在各EDA層次中所需要的技術與知識。Electronic Design Automation (EDA) involves the correctness, reliability, efficiency and optimization of system structure. This is a cross-domain theme, which requires related knowledge such as motor engineering, electronic engineering and information engineering. In the process of electronic design automation, a practical and suitable solution can be found by using computational theories (including algorithms, complexity, automation machines, logic, programming languages, etc.). In this course, we will examine some representative EDA problems and the techniques and knowledge required in each EDA level.
